CHEF MARRAKCHI WINS 3RD PLACE "MUNDIAL DE TAPAS"

Chef MOHA FEDAL of Dar Moha receives prestigious international prize for his tapa.



One of Marrakech's famous chefs of typical Marrakech cuisine and also a familiar face on the many promotional films of Marrakech has managed to secure third place in " El Campeonato Mundial de Tapas ", which takes place in Valladolid at the beginning of this month, and which is ready for its fourth edition, together with the world famous del Concurso Nacional de Pinchos y Tapas Ciudad de Valladolid, one of the most important miniature cooking competitions in our country.

Pedreira, by Danny Bramson Cocina, in Olivas (Argentina), has conquered the world with a cover based on flavours that it has adapted to the times of tango: strong, weak, semi-strong and again weak. In this alternation, in which he has tried to convey the provocation, sensuality and delicacy of this dance to the palate, he has used an ironed shrimp, turnip, tongue cooked at low temperature, a scalded chives and a coriander and lime emulsion for a tapa that is eaten like a taco.

The second place, according to the jury, was presided over by Pepe Rodríguez, the representative of Thailand, Anthony Burd, and the third prize went to Moha Fedal, from Morocco, with his 'Trid vestido de flamenca', a Moroccan stew cooked in clay.
