Only a few weeks ago, we announced the regional winners and kept our fingers crossed that one of the two representatives of Marrakech would also score globally.

Our wishes became reality and Restaurant " Le Ronsard" won the title in the category restaurants.

PRIX VERSAILLES 2020 THE WORLD ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN AWARD

The Prix Versailles is an original programme with the clear aim of fostering better interaction between the economy and culture. It underlines the role economic agents can play, in all sectors, to enhance, embellish and improve living environments.

This everyday architecture can be a lever for sustainable development where ecological (green economy), social and cultural (purple economy) dimensions intersect.

The winners at a continental level were announced on 31/10/2020, and at the beginning of December, an international jury will award the winners at the global level.

With these prestigious prizes, Marrakech once again confirms its status as a trendsetter in design, innovation and symbiosis between the cultural and commercial fields.

Palais Ronsard; Le restaurant d'hiver.

Palais Ronsard emerged from the vision of Adriana Ohanian Karembeu and her husband Aram Ohanian who wanted to create a "home away from home" feeling.

The design, of the Palais ,was entrusted to Gil Dez, a prominent French interior designer whose clients include Hermès, Chanel, President Nicolas Sarkozy and the Baglioni hotel group.

The enchanting result is a well-being oasis with Art Deco, Neo-Moors, Baroque and Tuscan influences.

Palais Ronsard can be found just a few kilometres from the centre of Marrakech in the Palmeraie.

The Oberoi, which opened this year 2020 after 10 years of preparation, has already received multiple awards since its grand opening.
