Day 1: Marrakech to M'hamid - Under the Canopy of the Desert
Your adventure begins as you travel to M'hamid village from your city (airport of choise), where ancient trees cast shadows on your path. As night falls, settle into the embrace of our fixed bivouac, nestled beneath the protective canopy of the desert's ancient trees.
Day 2: M'hamid Trekking Commencement - Following the Oasis Trail
Embark on foot from M'hamid, tracing the lush M'hamid palm grove along the Oued Drâa riverbed. Wander through the Sahara's desert plains, pausing for tea and lunch at Race Nkhal. Take a moment to rest before continuing your trek, leading to the establishment of a camp at the edge of the Sidi Naji sand dunes, surrounded by the whispers of hidden wells and the rustling leaves of desert trees. Witness a breathtaking sunset and explore the historical sanctuary of Sidi Naji.
Day 3: Nomadic Sunrise - Amongst the Ancient Trees
Awaken with the sun, load the camel caravan, and set out for an authentic nomadic experience through the Sahara's sand dunes. Enjoy tea and lunch beneath the shade of a Tamaris tree at Erg Ez-Zahar. Resume your trek, establishing a camp amidst the majestic howling dunes, surrounded by ancient trees and the echoes of hidden wells—a haven in the heart of the scarcely visited desert.
Day 4: Oasis Encounters - Lhdibate's Wellspring
Continue your exploration, reaching Lhdibate in the heart of the Moroccan desert. Pause for a traditional tea and lunch at Etonr before setting up camp at Erg Bo Rabara. Encounter diverse characters in the desert, from nomadic shepherds to camels seeking water near the Erg well—an oasis of life in the vast expanse.
Day 5: Homeward Bound - Echoes of Trees and Wells
As dawn breaks, dismantle the camp and load the camels for the return journey. Stroll toward Lbour and the fixed bivouac, following the path along the Oued Drâa and its palm grove, where the echoes of hidden wells and the rustling leaves bid farewell to your enchanting expedition.
Day 6 Departure - The Journey Continues
Morning: After breakfast at the basecamp, begin the long transfer journey to Marrakech or your city/airport of choice.
